Topics indexed include: research on advertising, marketing, economics, human resources, finance, taxation, computers, and more. Information on 60,000+ companies is also provided.
2. Biological Abstracts, 1969 through 2002, produced by BIOSIS, is a complete collection of bibliographic references to life science journal literature published internationally. This database provides users with easy access to information published in virtually every life science discipline.
3. CINAHL, the Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature, is the authoritative resource for nursing and allied health professionals, students, educators and researchers. This database provides indexing and abstracting for over 1,600 current nursing and allied health journals and publications dating back to 1982, totaling over 700,000 records.This database is now available with full text via EbscoHost.
4. CountryWatch.com provides comprehensive, up-to-date information and news on the countries of the world.
5. EBSCOHost Academic Search Premier indexes articles in the areas of business, social sciences, humanities, general academic, general science, education and multicultural issues. Indexes over 3,200 journals and magazines of which 825 are full text.
6. ERIC: 1966-Present grants access to ERIC which is an Index to Journals and Resources in Education.
7. Health Reference Center (allows 15 simultaneous users) is a database provided by Information Access Company that indexes over 250,000 articles in 500 journals from 1994 to present on the following topics: Fitness, Pregnancy, Medicine, Nutrition, Diseases, Public Health, Occupational Health & Safety, Alcohol and Drug Abuse, HMOs, Prescription Drugs and more.
8. Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe allows specialized access to five distinct areas: News, Business, Legal, Medical, and Reference - over 5,300 full text journals in all.
9. MLA Bibliography International Bibliography is a bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association, the electronic version of the Bibliography dates back to 1963 and contains over 1.5 million citations from more than 4,400 journals and series and 1,000 book publishers.
10. TheNew York Times (1851-1999) offers full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue. The collection includes digital reproductions providing access to every page from every available issue.
11. ProQuest Direct is comparable to EbscoHost. It is a UMI product that indexes a variety of articles covering the arts, business, humanities, health, social sciences and the sciences. It indexes 1800 journals, of which 75% are full text. It includes: The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY and Barron's.
12. PsycINFO summarizes the world's serial and book literature from 1887 to present in psychology and related disciplines. It is accessed through EBSCOHost.


3. SerialSSolutions provides a searchable list of all of the periodicals to which Huie Library has online access.
