Spann appointed to Henderson Board of Trustees

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson has appointed Creed Spann to the Henderson State University Board of Trustees. Spann will fill the position recently vacated by James Barnes. He will serve until 2025.

Spann has practiced public accounting in Arkansas for 47 years. He graduated from Henderson State in 1968 and received his CPA certificate in 1972.

“I am truly honored to accept this appointment to the Board of Trustees and look forward to serving the governor and Henderson State University with integrity and in a manner befitting it's proud traditions," Spann said.

Spann is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, serving on numerous committees. He has served on the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy and the Arkansas State Banking Board. Spann also served for 15 years on the Board of Directors for First National Bank of Hot Springs.

He lives in Little Rock with his wife, the former Leigh Tullous of Pine Bluff.
